I’m with Rudy

Rudy Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City, has been the target of many in the media for his claim that President Obama does not love America. I, for one, agree with him. Obama campaigned on “hope” and “change,” advocating the “fundamental transformation of the nation.” If Obama loved the United States, why would he want to fundamentally change it? Indeed, his policies have moved us far away from the ideals of our Founders and much too close to a socialist state, where dependency is encouraged by government welfare. I pray that our leaders, including whomever we elect as our next President, will reverse this transformation and restore us to the principles enshrined in the Constitution. I don’t agree with Rudy on social policies, but I do support him on this issue.

Still Learning about WordPress

I had a request not too long ago to enable people to subscribe to this site. Trying to find an easy but effective way to do this in WordPress was not a simple task. Many options are available, and I tried more than one. I hope the method I have settled on, using Google’s Feedburner capabilities, will work successfully. If you subscribe, please let me know of any problems you encounter.

Learning New Things

I am relatively new to WordPress, but I am really enjoying it. There are so many ways to “tweak” your content and include various kinds of media! I am also discovering that I really like learning by doing. Fortunately, WordPress is fairly forgiving when one makes a mistake; this makes it much easier to try something new.
